Delilah Finkley Acquaah is a singer, songwriter, and creative spirit whose music reflects a rich blend of gospel, jazz, soul, and R&B influences. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, her mom, family, fiends, and everyday life experiences, Delilah’s work celebrates love, resilience, and spiritual truth.
Her artistry draws from the legacies of Mahalia Jackson, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, and Johnny Mathis, blending emotional honesty with timeless melody. A graduate of the City University of New York at Queens College, Delilah has been guided by mentors such as James and Delilah Beverly, Neoline Canton, Richard Holley, RasJude Asa, Marlo Morgan, Reshaun Finkley, and voice actor Ronald Thompson.
After retiring from teaching, she embraced her calling as a full-time artist, composing and recording songs that explore faith, passion, and humanity. Delilah’s vision is for her music to reach hearts and lives across the world—on radio, film, television, stage, and beyond. Her goal is to see her songs become beloved classics that inspire, uplift, and endure for generations to come.
